The elevator link is a critical part that connects the Top Drive, a drilling mechanism that suspends and rotates the drill string from the rig floor, allowing for easier and more efficient drilling operations, to the drill pipe or drill collar, providing support and facilitating the transfer of torque and weight during drilling activities. It helps in lifting and lowering the drill string into and out of the wellbore safely and efficiently.
The elevator links manufactured by JULI SLING CO., LTD., categorized into weldless link (single arm & double arm) and bail, are forged from high quality alloy steel by using special unique forging process, machining procedure, and special heat treatment methods. Being characterized by high strength, good toughness, excellent low temperature resistance, the JULI-made elevator links can meet the demands of extremely cold weather conditions and owns excellent mechanical performances, holding a significant market competitive advantage.
Both single arm and double arm weldless link should be used in pairs; bails can be utilized separately. In order to control the quality and keep safe when the links being in use, we apply strict and comprehensive procedure including forging – machining (rough & finishing) – heat treatment – mechanical property test – static load test – NDT(MT & UT). With every step conducted by highly trained and qualified staff, the elevator links are certified with API-8C. To date, the Max. length can be produced is up to 15.24m; the Max. tonnage reaches 1250 TON.
