Endless Round Sling

JULI Endless Round Slings are the preferred choice for lifting heavy, delicate, or irregularly shaped loads. Unlike eye-to-eye slings, the endless construction allows the user to rotate the wear points, significantly extending the service life of the sling. Engineered with a continuous loop of high-tenacity polyester yarn protected by a durable woven sleeve, these slings offer an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and superior protection for polished or fragile surfaces.

  • Unmatched Durability: Rotate wear points to maximize lifespan.

  • High Capacity: Available in Working Load Limits (WLL) from 1T to over 1000T.

  • Surface Protection: Soft, flexible material conforms to the load without scratching or crushing.

  • Industry Standard: Color-coded according to international standards for instant capacity identification.

Core Technical Advantages: Engineered for Safety and Longevity

Endless Round Slings (also known as continuous loop slings) are the industry standard for high-capacity, flexible lifting. Unlike traditional slings, the seamless, endless construction allows for rotating wear points, significantly extending the service life and ensuring even weight distribution across the load.

Engineered Construction & Material Excellence

JULI Endless Round Slings are manufactured with a core of high-tenacity polyester yarn, encased in a durable, abrasion-resistant protective jacket. This design provides:

  • Extended Service Life: The endless loop design allows for a rotating load-bearing point. This prevents consistent wear in the same spot, making it more cost-effective than standard eye-to-eye slings.

  • Lightweight & Ergonomic: Even at high capacities, round slings are significantly lighter than wire rope or chain, reducing worker fatigue and the risk of injuries.

  • High Strength-to-Weight Ratio: A 50-ton polyester round sling is light enough for two people to carry, yet strong enough to lift heavy industrial machinery.

  • Low Stretch: High-grade polyester yarn provides minimal stretch at WLL, ensuring stable and predictable load control.

Advantages of Endless Round Slings

  • Lightweight and Flexible: Endless round slings are significantly lighter than traditional lifting chains or wire ropes, making them easy to handle and transport. Their flexibility allows them to conform to the shape of the load, ensuring a snug fit and reducing the risk of load slippage.
  • High Load Capacity: Despite their lightweight design, endless round slings boast impressive load-carrying capacities. They are engineered to withstand heavy weights and provide reliable lifting solutions across various industries.
  • Gentle on Delicate Surfaces: The soft and smooth surface of endless round slings minimizes the risk of damage to delicate or polished loads. This feature makes them ideal for lifting materials such as glass, ceramics, and other sensitive items.
  • Cost-Effective: Compared to traditional lifting slings, endless round slings are more cost-effective, providing similar load capacities at a fraction of the price.

Comparing Endless Round Slings with Other Lifting Slings

While endless round slings offer many advantages, it’s essential to understand how they compare to other types of lifting slings:

Endless Round Slings vs. Web Slings: Endless round slings are more flexible and easier to handle than traditional web slings. They provide better load protection and are less prone to tangling.

Endless Round Slings vs. Chain Slings: Chain slings are highly durable and suitable for extremely heavy loads, but they lack the versatility and load protection of endless round slings.

Endless Round Slings vs. Wire Rope Slings: Wire rope slings are robust and can handle harsh environments, but they may cause damage to delicate loads due to their rigid structure.

Common Misconceptions About Endless Round Slings

Despite their widespread use in industrial lifting operations, there are still several misunderstandings about endless round slings. Clarifying these points can help engineers, procurement teams, and end users make more informed and confident lifting decisions.

❌ “Endless Round Slings are not durable”

In reality, endless round slings are designed for long-term industrial use when selected and maintained correctly. Manufactured from high-strength polyester fibers and reinforced internal load-bearing yarns, they offer excellent resistance to wear, abrasion, and fatigue. With proper inspection and usage within rated working load limits, they deliver consistent performance across repeated lifting cycles.

❌ “Endless Round Slings are difficult to store”

This is a common misconception. Due to their lightweight and highly flexible structure, endless round slings can be easily coiled, folded, and stored without requiring large storage space. Their compact design makes them especially suitable for mobile lifting operations, offshore projects, and field environments where storage efficiency is critical.

❌ “Endless Round Slings are expensive”

While initial pricing may vary depending on specifications and load capacity, endless round slings are widely recognized as a cost-effective lifting solution over their full service life. Their long durability, low maintenance requirements, and versatility across multiple lifting applications help reduce overall operational costs compared to rigid or metal lifting alternatives.

FAQ

How do I identify the capacity of an endless round sling?

JULI slings follow the international color code (e.g., Green = 2T, Yellow = 3T). Additionally, each sling features black “tonnage lines” on the jacket (1 line = 1 Ton) and a durable ID tag specifying the WLL.

Can these slings be used for sharp-edged loads?

While polyester is durable, we strongly recommend using JULI anti-cut protective sleeves (PU or Cordura) when lifting loads with sharp or abrasive edges to prevent jacket failure.

Are JULI round slings chemical resistant?

Polyester has excellent resistance to most mineral acids but is vulnerable to alkalis. For specific chemical environments, please contact our technical team for material advice.
